The first library in Cookstown was organized in October, 1898 by a handful of community-minded volunteers and the Cookstown Branch continues to be an integral part of its community today. In October 2009 the library moved to a new state of the art facility. This branch has a collection of over 10,000 books, magazines, DVDs, CDs and audiobooks. There are 4 Mac computers, 4 PCs and 2 early literacy stations available for public use. |
