Innisfil Public Library is committed to providing services to the residents of our community.
Homebound Service is the free home delivery of books and other library materials to Innisfil residents confined to their home or a health care institution. The library provides alternative formats such as large print books, downloadable audiobooks, and ebooks that can be read on a computer screen or handheld device for those who cannot access traditional print materials.
The Books for Babies program gives a book to new Innisfil babies and provides parents with resources to guide them in supporting their child’s literacy development. This wonderful program is made possible by the Friends of the Library.
Students will find the help they need 24/7 on our web site – our Online Research page brings the library to you whenever you need it. Collaborations with local schools include the popular Silver Birch Award program, displays, class visits, and special events throughout the school year.
For adults, the library offers programs, computer classes and parenting resources. We are members of CAP (Community Access Program), which provides on-site internet access to all library customers. Arrangements may be made to have library staff attend special community events such as health fairs, service group meetings, etc. to talk about the variety of services offered by the library.
Get to know your community with our Community Information portal, or come in to the Lakeshore or Cookstown branches for displays by local artists. Spaces are available for community groups and clubs to hold events; contact library branches for information on room rental.
Watch for Library representatives at the local parades and other annual special events!
